Donate Items to OppShop

Donating your items to OppShop helps support programs and services at Opportunity House.

Did you know that clients at the shelter who need clothing, shop at OppShop  for items they need at no cost to them?  It helps restore their dignity and begin the healing process.

Your gently used items including clothing, furniture, housewares, collectibles, knick-knacks, small appliances in working condition, help families who experienced homelessness get a fresh start.

OppShop does not accept: dirty or stained clothing or non-functioning appliances.

InFant and Toddler Needs

When people think of what homeless shelters need most, many never consider babies, infants, toddlers, and small children as part of the homeless population staying at Opportunity House. Our smallest clients depend on your support to provide diapers in all sizes while their parents can focus on providing safe, stable housing for them.

  • Diapers, Pull Ups and wipes: For families with young children, diapers (sizes 2, 3, and up) and pull-ups (in all sizes) are indispensable. These items relieve parents of one of their most pressing concerns, allowing them to focus on rebuilding their lives.
