Thrift Store Near Sinking Spring, PAOppShop is one of our avenues for raising funds, and it serves as the primary feature of our recycle/reuse program, in conjunction with the warehouse where we recycle what doesn’t sell at the thrift store. All proceeds of OppShop go to support Opportunity House, a program and shelter that has been providing aid to the homeless since 1984. Donations to OppShop

Gently-used items in saleable condition are welcome to OppShop. You can either bring them to the drop-off point at the back of the store on 5th Street Highway in Reading, PA, where we will help unload your donation, or you may drop off donations in the bins located throughout the community.

When you drop items off in our bins, we ask that you place donated items, tied in a grocery-size plastic bag, into the container. DVDs, CDs, and Blu-Ray films should be in their original cases, and we also accept clothing, shoes, and books within the bins.

We provide pick-up service for large items like furniture, but you should reach out to us with a description to ensure that we can accept the donation. When we receive unsaleable items, disposing of them takes resources away from the charity’s mission.
